Arrival in Paro and Drive to Thimphu

Cultural Exploration in Thimphu

Discover Thimphu’s highlights including the majestic Buddha Dordenma, National Memorial Chorten, and Folk Heritage Museum. Witness artisans at work at the Institute for Zorig Chusum and visit the impressive Tashichho Dzong.

Day 3 :

Scenic Drive to Punakha via Dochula

Depart for Punakha, stopping at Dochula Pass (3,100m) for Himalayan views and 108 stupas. Visit the famous fertility temple, Chimi Lhakhang, before arriving at Punakha Dzong—stunningly located between two rivers.

Day 04 :

Journey to Bumthang Valley

Enjoy a full day’s drive through varied landscapes, crossing Pele La Pass and Yotong La to reach Bumthang. Stop en route at Trongsa Dzong and the Tower of Trongsa Museum. Continue to Bumthang and check in at your lodge.

Day 05 :

Attend Ura Yakchoe Tshechu

Spend the day immersed in the Ura Yakchoe Tshechu in the traditional Ura village. Observe sacred mask dances, receive blessings, and interact with the local community gathered in colorful attire. The sacred relic is displayed and venerated during this rare spiritual event.

Day 06 :

Explore Bumthang Valley

Hike to Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest), Bhutan’s most iconic landmark. Perched on a cliff, the monastery offers stunning views and spiritual calm. After descending, you will be transferred to the airport for your departure.
