Overview
The Snowman Trek is one of the most demanding long-distance treks in the world, traversing Bhutan’s remote northern frontier through the isolated Lunana region. Stretching from Paro to Bumthang, it crosses 11 high-altitude mountain passes, many above 5,000 meters, and offers awe-inspiring views of the Eastern Himalayas, encounters with nomadic highlanders, and immersion in untouched wilderness. Only for highly experienced trekkers, this journey is both a test of endurance and a spiritual passage through Bhutan’s hidden heart.
