Day 1 :

Arrival in Yuksom

Arrive in the charming village of Yuksom, the trailhead of the trek. Spend time exploring the village, visiting Dubdi Monastery, and preparing for the trek ahead.

Day 2 :

Trek to Tshoka (9,700 ft)

Begin the trek with a gradual ascent through dense forests and waterfalls. Cross scenic wooden bridges and reach the picturesque hamlet of Tshoka, offering views of the distant peaks.

Day 3 :

Trek to Dzongri (13,200 ft)

Climb through blooming rhododendron valleys to reach Dzongri. The terrain opens up to stunning alpine landscapes, and the air gets thinner as you gain altitude.

Day 04 :

Acclimatization and Dzongri Top Hike

Take a short early morning hike to Dzongri Top for a jaw-dropping sunrise over Mt. Kanchenjunga, Mt. Pandim, and other Himalayan peaks. Return to Dzongri for rest and acclimatization.

Day 05 :

Return Trek to Tshoka

Descend back through the same beautiful trail. The downhill trek offers a new perspective of the landscape and time to absorb the changing scenery.

Day 06 :

Trek to Yuksom

Trek back through lush green forests to Yuksom. The day ends with a celebratory meal and reflections on the journey.

Day 07 :

Drive to Pelling & Local Sightseeing

Drive to Pelling, a scenic hill town known for its views of Kanchenjunga. Visit Pemayangtse Monastery and the Skywalk.

Day 08 :

Departure from Pelling

Transfer to Bagdogra/NJP for onward travel.
