Day 1 :

Arrival in Paro

Arrival at Paro International Airport. Transfer to hotel. Explore Paro town and visit the National Museum or Rinpung Dzong.
Overnight: Paro

Day 2 :

Paro – Jele Dzong (Trek Start)

Trek begins with a steady climb through forests of pine and rhododendron to Jele Dzong (3,450m), offering panoramic views of Paro valley.
Overnight: Camp at Jele Dzong
Trekking Time: 4–5 hours

Day 3 :

Jele Dzong – Jangchulakha

Hike along ridges and forests. Spot yak herders along the trail. Camp near yak pastures at Jangchulakha (3,770m).
Overnight: Camp at Jangchulakha
Trekking Time: 3–4 hours

Day 04 :

Jangchulakha – Jimilang Tsho

Ascend to 4,000m along mountain ridges with views of Jichu Drake. Camp by Jimilang Tsho, known for giant trout.
Overnight: Camp at Jimilang Tsho
Trekking Time: 4–5 hours

Day 05 :

Jimilang Tsho – Simkotra Tsho

Trek past several yak herder camps and lakes. Camp beside Simkotra Tsho (4,110m), surrounded by mountain peaks.
Overnight: Camp at Simkotra Tsho
Trekking Time: 4–5 hours

Day 06 :

Simkotra Tsho – Phajoding – Thimphu (Trek End)

Cross the final pass (4,210m), descend to Phajoding Monastery, then continue down to Thimphu.

Day 07 :

Thimphu Sightseeing

Explore the capital city: Buddha Dordenma, Tashichho Dzong, Memorial Chorten, and local markets.
