Day 1 :

Arrival in Paro – Transfer to Thimphu

Receive a warm welcome at Paro International Airport and drive to Thimphu, Bhutan’s capital. On the way, stop at Tamchog Lhakhang. In the evening, visit the National Memorial Chorten and explore the local market.

Day 2 :

Thimphu Sightseeing

Thimphu – Dochula Pass – Punakha

Drive to Punakha via Dochula Pass (3,100m), where you'll see 108 chortens and Himalayan peaks. Visit Chimi Lhakhang and Punakha Dzong, located at the confluence of two rivers

Punakha to Gangtey (Phobjikha Valley)

Travel to the glacial valley of Phobjikha. En route, stop at Wangdue. On arrival, visit Gangtey Goemba and enjoy the Phobjikha Nature Trail with a valley-view lodge stay.

Day 05 :

Gangtey to Bumthang (Jakar)

Journey to Bumthang, Bhutan’s cultural heartland. Drive over Pele La and Yutong La passes. Upon arrival, relax and explore the peaceful surroundings.

Bumthang Sightseeing

Visit Jambay Lhakhang, Kurjey Lhakhang, Tamshing Monastery, and the Swiss Farm. Take a gentle village walk or enjoy local cheese, honey, and beer tasting.

Day 07 :

Bumthang to Paro

Set off early for a scenic full-day drive from Bumthang to Paro, crossing mountain passes like Yutong La and Pele La and passing through Trongsa and Wangdue.
